MPS Pelham Graduates

The MPS Pelham facility provides a variety of iron and steel parts, many of which must be closely inspected for any type of discontinuity, such as cracks or seams. The inspection process is called magnetic particle inspection. All of the Pelham inspectors are required to complete training to be a Level I inspector. The American Society of Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT) requires that each person receive 12 hours of classroom time and make an average of 80 on two written tests and a practical test. Three MPS Pelham associates completed the class on 9/9/15.
