MacLean-Fogg Proud to Sponsor Formula SAE Michigan for the Third Year

MacLean-Fogg (M-F) was excited to sponsor the 2017 Formula SAE® in Michigan May 10-13th. The International Formula SAE® program is a collegiate engineering design competition. The competition provides participants with the opportunity to enhance their engineering design and project management skills by applying learned classroom theories in a challenging competition.

MacLean-Fogg was proud to be back for the third year in a row to sponsor the 2017 SAE Clean Snowmobile Challenge event held at Michigan Technological University in Houghton, MI. Now in its 18th year, the event, which was held March 6th – 11th, hosted nearly 200 competitors from 21 schools representing the United States and Canada.

MacLean-Fogg Company is excited to announce its sponsorship of the 2017 Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Clean Snowmobile Challenge (CSC). This collegiate design competition challenges teams to reengineer an existing snowmobile to improve environmental performance. Modified snowmobiles then compete in a variety of events including emissions, noise, fuel economy / endurance, acceleration, handling, static display, cold start and design.

MacLean-Fogg Passes Presidential Torch to the Next Generation

Barry L. MacLean, chief executive officer and chairman of MacLean-Fogg, announced the appointment of Duncan A. L. MacLean to president of MacLean-Fogg effective August 15, 2015. Duncan MacLean will remain president of MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions and, on October 15, 2015, will assume the role of president of MacLean Power Systems.
