Barry MacLean
Barry MacLeanChairman

Barry MacLean is the Chairman of MacLean-Fogg Company. Barry received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dartmouth and a Master of Mechanical Engineering from Thayer School of Engineering, Dartmouth College.  He received a Doctor of Humane Letters Honorary Degree from Dartmouth College in 2010.

Barry MacLean served as a Dartmouth College Trustee from 1990-2000.  He has served on the Thayer School of Engineering Dartmouth College Board of Overseers for over thirty-six years.

Barry is a member, director, and former chairman of numerous businesses and professional organizations.  Civic interests include Trusteeships at Newberry Library, Museum of Science and Industry, University of Chicago Hospitals, and U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association.  He is former chairman of the Board of The School of the Art Institute and Vice Chairman of the Art Institute.  He served for thirty-five years as elected trustee of the Village of Mettawa and fourteen years as mayor.

Barry has five children and twelve grandchildren.

Duncan MacLean
Duncan MacLeanPresident & CEO

Duncan MacLean is the great grandson of the founder of MacLean-Fogg. He joined MacLean-Fogg in 1996 as a manufacturing engineer in MacLean Power Systems and has been in his current position, President of MacLean-Fogg, since August of 2015, and Chief Executive Officer since November of 2017. He was elected to the MacLean-Fogg Board of Directors in 1998. Since joining MacLean-Fogg, Mr. Duncan MacLean has worked in seven (7) different business units, including 4.5 years living and working in Germany.

Duncan MacLean received a Bachelor’s Degree from Dartmouth College in 1994, a Bachelor’s of Engineering degree from Dartmouth’s Thayer School of Engineering in 1995, a Master’s of Engineering Management degree from Dartmouth’s Thayer School of Engineering in 1996, and an MBA in Finance from Kellogg Graduate School of Management in 2008.

Michael Isaacs
Michael IsaacsExecutive VP and CFO

Mike Isaacs is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of MacLean-Fogg Company.

He is responsible for MacLean-Fogg’s overall financial and strategic management, including the company’s financial reporting, long-term business planning and operations oversight. Additionally, he oversees the company Controller, Corporate Development and Strategy, Procurement, Treasury, Internal Control and Tax functions.

Prior to joining MacLean-Fogg, Mike served as Finance Director of Mexico Operations for Cooper Tire and Rubber Company where he was responsible for two Mexican entities, a wholly-owned sales company and a majority-owned JV manufacturing company.

Prior to MacLean-Fogg, Mike also worked for Ford Motor Company for twenty years. Positions held included Manager of Corporate Strategic Planning, Controller of Stamping Operations, Product Development Controller for South American Operations and Vehicle Line Controller.

Mike received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

He enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Ross Conner
Ross ConnerVP of Information Technology

Ross Conner serves as Vice President of Information Technology at MacLean-Fogg, leading cybersecurity, enterprise systems, infrastructure, and strategic technology initiatives. He positions IT as a business partner, helping teams achieve strategic goals through technology and data.
He began his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young and later earned an MBA and a master’s degree in Information Technology from Loyola University Chicago. His experience spans healthcare, global distribution, and industrial supply, including ERP and application leadership across international operations. Since joining MacLean-Fogg, he has led ERP transformations, acquisition integrations, and the separation of MacLean Power System.
Ross emphasizes empathy, integrity, and talent development, fostering collaborative teams and empowering individuals to solve problems and drive improvement.
He sees data quality and management as critical to future success as manufacturing becomes more connected and AI-enabled, ensuring technology investments deliver measurable business impact.

Sarah Ferrett
Sarah FerrettVP of Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability

Sarah Ferrett is the Vice President of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) at MacLean-Fogg. She leads the company's efforts in workplace safety, environmental stewardship, and corporate sustainability, ensuring these initiatives align with MacLean-Fogg's overall business objectives. Working closely with executive leadership, general managers, and site-level EHS teams, Sarah is committed to fostering a culture of safety and sustainability across the organization. 

Since joining MacLean-Fogg, Sarah has played a pivotal role in transforming the company's approach to EHS. Prior to her leadership, EHS responsibilities were often shared among HR, Continuous Improvement, and Quality teams. Under her guidance, the function has matured into a structured, strategic discipline, with dedicated professionals at every site and a proactive safety culture. One of her most significant contributions has been the successful implementation of the DuPont STOP program, which has strengthened employee engagement in safety and risk prevention. She has also been instrumental in launching MacLean-Fogg's sustainability strategy, positioning the company as an emerging leader in environmental responsibility within the automotive supplier space. 

Before joining MacLean-Fogg, Sarah built her career in the automotive industry, holding various health and safety leadership roles. She began her career at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), where she led safety programs across multiple manufacturing environments, including stamping, assembly, and warehousing operations. She also contributed to vehicle safety design improvements, collaborating with engineers to enhance ergonomic and workplace safety considerations during the launch of new vehicle models. 

As a leader, Sarah embraces servant leadership, prioritizing the growth and development of her team. She is passionate about fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment where employees feel empowered to contribute ideas and drive meaningful change. She firmly believes that investing in people is key to long-term organizational success and takes pride in mentoring employees to help them reach their full potential. 

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Sarah is actively involved in industry groups such as the Industrial Fasteners Institute (IFI), where she chairs the Safety Committee team and collaborates with other leaders to advance best practices in EHS. She is also deeply committed to sustainability and workforce development, championing initiatives that enhance both employee well-being and corporate environmental responsibility. 

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, attending concerts, and cooking—a passion rooted in her Italian heritage. She and her family are avid music lovers, making concerts a frequent event in their lives. A strong advocate for prematurity awareness, she is actively involved with March of Dimes, organizing fundraisers and events to support families navigating the challenges of premature birth. 

Kristin Malbasa
Kristin MalbasaExecutive VP of Human Resources

Kristin Malbasa serves as the Executive Vice President of Human Resources at MacLean-Fogg, leading all facets of the HR function across the organization's diverse manufacturing landscape. With over two decades of experience in strategic human resources management, Kristin is a driving force behind MacLean-Fogg's commitment to fostering a culture that values integrity, people, customers, and stewardship—key pillars that define the company. 

Kristin is known for her visionary leadership, emphasis on employee empowerment, and focus on employee development, diversity, and operational excellence. She believes empowering employees is the key to unlocking their full potential: "When we empower individuals to take ownership of their work, we not only elevate their performance but also enrich the entire organization." Throughout her career, she has successfully spearheaded initiatives in talent acquisition, leadership development, and culture transformation, making a tangible impact on workforce engagement and retention. Kristin's ability to balance business objectives with employee needs has made her a respected leader in the industry. 

Outside of her professional role, Kristin is an advocate for continuous learning and community involvement. Matt Dausch
Matt DauschVP of Finance & Treasurer

Matt Dausch serves as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at MacLean-Fogg, overseeing financial reporting, treasury operations, capital allocation, and lender relationships. He ensures financial discipline while supporting long-term growth and stability.
He began his career at PwC in Private Company Services, gaining experience in audit, M&A, and complex transactions, including IPOs and debt offerings. As a Senior Manager, he advised privately held companies ranging from early-stage to $2B+ in value. During this time, he worked closely with MacLean-Fogg as a client and joined the company full-time in 2017.
At MacLean-Fogg, Matt supports growth through operational strength and acquisitions, leveraging the company’s scale, manufacturing expertise, and technologies to expand beyond its automotive roots.
Known for his hands-on, collaborative leadership style, he emphasizes mentorship, development, transparency, and accountability.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
Brian Duffy
Brian DuffyPresident, Fastener Solutions

Brian Duffy serves as President of Fastener Solutions at MacLean-Fogg, leading multiple manufacturing locations and overseeing operations with a focus on performance, stability, and long-term growth. He is responsible for setting strategic direction, aligning teams, and driving operational excellence and customer value.
Brian began his career in application engineering, progressing through roles in field service, operations, maintenance, IT, and continuous improvement. He joined MacLean-Fogg in 2008 as a consultant and went on to build a career spanning technical, operational, and executive leadership roles.
He led the implementation of a single ERP system across more than 20 locations, strengthening operational consistency, and played a key role in rebuilding the IT organization. He is particularly proud of driving stability and profitability within the Fastener Solutions division.
Aligned with the company’s core values, Brian emphasizes ownership, initiative, and continuous learning. He is motivated by the people he works with and focused on positioning the business for future growth.

Dan Dye
Dan DyeVP & General Manager, EPC

Dan Dye is Vice President and General Manager of the Plastics Group at MacLean-Fogg, leading the strategic direction and operations of two injection molding facilities in Wisconsin. He is responsible for P&L management, long-term planning, capital investment, and daily operations to drive growth, operational excellence, and customer value.
Early in his career, Dan gained experience in planning and forecasting at a semiconductor manufacturer and later at a global consulting firm supporting manufacturing organizations. These roles shaped his disciplined, data-driven approach to problem solving.
Over nearly three decades at MacLean-Fogg, he has built deep expertise in plastics manufacturing, leading initiatives in plant optimization, process reengineering, acquisitions, and relocations to strengthen capabilities and expand into new markets.
A collaborative, people-oriented leader, Dan emphasizes clear communication, accountability, and continuous improvement. He is committed to developing talent and mentoring future leaders, guided by the company’s core values.
Scott Pearson
Scott PearsonVP of Corporate Development & Innovation

Scott Pearson serves as Vice President of Corporate Development and Innovation at MacLean-Fogg, leading strategic acquisitions and overseeing its additive manufacturing initiative. He works across the organization to identify growth opportunities, execute transactions, and integrate acquired businesses, expanding capabilities, strengthening platforms, and broadening industry presence. In additive manufacturing, Scott supports innovation in best-in-class hard tooling using MacLean’s proprietary L-40 powder.
Scott’s career spans mergers and acquisitions, finance, and strategy. He began in investment banking, specializing in middle-market M&A, and later moved into private equity, focusing on acquiring and growing companies across industries. He joined MacLean-Fogg as Director of Corporate Development for MacLean Power Systems, working on acquisitions and strategic initiatives, before serving on the corporate development leadership team at Cognizant. He returned to MacLean-Fogg in 2023 in his current role.
Since returning, Scott has advanced growth through additive and key acquisitions in adjacent markets, including material handling, solar, and data infrastructure. He leads with a collaborative, servant-leadership philosophy grounded in MacLean-Fogg’s core values, emphasizing empowerment and teamwork.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys running, climbing with his son, hiking, reading, and is active in his church community.
Brad Southwood
Brad SouthwoodPresident, Sales

Brad Southwood serves as President of Sales for MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions, leading customer-facing, commercial, and industry engagement activities to strengthen relationships and drive new business.
With a degree in engineering, Brad began his career in automotive quality and application engineering before moving into sales leadership roles. Prior to joining MacLean-Fogg in 2010, he worked for a multinational organization, building experience across customers and product lines. At MacLean-Fogg, he has played a key role in shaping commercial strategy and supporting the Component Solutions business.
Brad is proud of rebuilding key customer partnerships during industry disruption, resolving complex challenges, and strengthening trust. He also holds a patent for a security fastener concept developed into a market-ready product.
Known for transparency and integrity, he empowers teams through clarity and critical thinking. He is motivated by earning customer trust and winning new business.
Outside of work, Brad enjoys traveling with family, supporting his children’s activities, and contributing to cancer-related fundraising efforts.
Brian Whiting
Brian WhitingExecutive VP, Engineered Solutions

Brian Whiting serves as Executive Vice President of MacLean-Fogg’s Engineered Solutions Group, leading the Metform, Master, Buffalo, and Mooresville teams and overseeing forging and machining operations worldwide. He is responsible for setting strategic direction and ensuring operational alignment to drive performance and long-term value.
A second-generation employee, Brian began as a high school intern at Metform in 2004. After earning his accounting degree from Bradley University, he joined the Manufacturing Management Program, gaining experience in operations and finance, including serving as interim controller. He later moved into corporate finance and played a key leadership role in the JD Edwards ERP implementation, ultimately serving as Director of Business Systems. In 2018, he became Vice President of Finance for the Automotive business before assuming his current role.
A collaborative “player-coach” leader, Brian emphasizes development, integrity, and a long-term perspective. He is motivated by building strong teams and driving collective success.
